In 2022, the Decimal blockchain transitioned to Decimal Smart Chain (DSC) — the second generation platform of Decimal. DSC is specifically designed for parallel operation with DecimalChain and supports the creation of smart contracts with any logic for Decimal blockchain tokens, cross-chain compatibility, and other features.

In addition to all the current functionality, the blockchain has implemented an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) module, which developers can use to create decentralized applications (dApps) based on Decimal.
