Integration with MetaMask
MetaMask is the world’s most popular wallet for storing and managing cryptocurrency assets. After the launch of the Decimal Smart Chain, the possibility of integrating Decimal services with the MetaMask interface emerged, and this integration was completed by the end of 2022. Soon after, Decimal developers automated the integration function with MetaMask for new projects, making it available with just a single button click.
Possible use cases with MetaMask:
- Using MetaMask by participants of the Decimal blockchain for storing and exchanging DEL using a seed phrase.
- Quick integration of the Decimal wallet with other blockchains that support MetaMask, such as Binance Smart Chain.
- Trading DEL and quickly exchanging tokens on decentralized exchanges like PancakeSwap.
- Integrating MetaMask into the dApps of the blockchain (with a «Quick login with MetaMask» button), which reduces developers’ time spent on creating authorization methods and generating initial phrases.
- Operations with smart contracts that utilize MetaMask.
Integration with Ledger
Ledger is the world’s largest company for hardware cryptocurrency wallets. Ledger supports storing approximately 60 top cryptocurrencies. Since 2022, DEL, the base token of the Decimal blockchain, has been included among them.
Not only can you securely store DEL on Ledger, but you can also mine it through staking directly on the Ledger device.
Token creation function (ERC standards) in the Decimal Console, including the ability to change emission after creation
The implementation of the EVM module has significantly expanded the scope of Decimal’s applications, including the ability to create various types and standards of tokens directly on the blockchain platform.
For example, through the Decimal console interface, an average user without programming skills can independently issue a non-collateralized ERC20 token (as well as any types of Ethereum standard tokens). «Non-collateralized» means that the token’s smart contract does not require DEL to be deposited as a reserve. Such a token can possess any qualities and tokenomics, and the ERC format allows for seamless transfer to other Ethereum-like blockchains.
The console allows not only the development of a token’s smart contract but also its management after creation: increasing emissions or burning tokens if necessary.
Cosmos IBC — Decimal integration into the Cosmos network via the IBC protocol
IBC (Inter Blockchain Communication) is a protocol that enables blockchains to communicate with each other, allowing for seamless and trustless transfer of tokens and other data between previously unconnected blockchains.
Cosmos is an ecosystem platform of blockchains (currently over 260), providing user-friendly tools and applications for solving various tasks for users and professional developers. The Decimal blockchain is built on the Cosmos SDK, which originally planned for the implementation of the IBC module.
The integration with Cosmos IBC took place on 02.02.2023, after which users and developers gained access to transfers and swaps of coins within the shared network. Simultaneously, the Decimal blockchain was combined with the EVM module (Ethereum Virtual Machine), providing access to the Ethereum infrastructure and compatibility with all EVM-based projects (including BSC).
