BTT

Bit.Team Token (BTT) is the utility token of the BIT.TEAM cryptocurrency exchange. The token was created on January 11, 2021, by the BIT.TEAM group of companies to attract users to the company's services. On October 18, 2022, BTT was listed on CoinMarketCap.

BTT serves as the "fuel" and marketing tool for BIT.TEAM services and is used exclusively within the BIT.TEAM ecosystem, allowing users to access a range of benefits and services, such as payment of trading commissions, unique advantages (PRO account, unique name, etc.), and staking.

BTT token burning

BIT.TEAM conducts a token burn once per quarter, burning 20% of the tokens from the company's total revenue: commission fees, bonus utilization, PRO account activation, boost feature activation, and nickname changes. The 20% reduction implies a decrease in the maximum issuance by the amount of burned tokens.

If the token amount in a quarter does not reach 20%, the company repurchases the missing tokens at the market price in the order book on the BIT.TEAM exchange or from the Decimal blockchain if there is insufficient volume of BTT coins in the order book. The repurchase takes place no later than one week before the next burning date.
