Multisig
Multisig wallet or multi-signature wallet – literally means “multiple signatures”. It is a special wallet that requires multiple signatures from its owners. Each of the owners owns a unique private key, without which it is impossible to perform any operation.
This is a function in the Decimal console that allows you to start a shared wallet for several users with the voting option.
By taking advantage of the multisig feature you will be able to:
● Create a wallet with multiple owners. The current limit in the console is 16 people;
● Determine for each participant the weight of his vote;
● Set the required number of votes to create a transaction;
● Keep the shared coin pool safe and transparent;
● Further secure your wallet by keeping private keys in different places;
● Utilize the connectivity of a transaction guarantor who has an equal voice in the transaction;
At this time, while the Decimal console is not available as the developers are still working on getting the network back up and running after the transition to EVM, please share what other ideas you have for using the multi-sig wallet feature?
