Decimal network successfully updated, all core services are back online
What has changed in this update
For all users:
● Rebase. We removed three zeros from DEL: the recalculation was done at a 1000:1 ratio. Prices and amounts are now easier to read, and your share in the network has not changed, only the display scale did.
● Predictable fees. The fee oracle is live: gas cost automatically adjusts to the DEL rate. Fees are now stable in money terms, without the “too cheap, then too expensive” swings.
● Wallet. The mobile app update appears in the app stores gradually and may not be available right away, roughly this evening or tomorrow. Once the update is installed, the app will offer multisig (viewing and voting on transactions), and DRC-20 token and NFT avatars load from IPFS again.
● Explorer. You can see the “locked until” date for staked funds, delegated token value is calculated correctly, and verified contracts now have a “Write” tab.
For developers:
● Contracts and API. Smart contract source code verification via API is now available, and contract data routes are optimized.
● withdrawHold. Transfer data was added to the API, so hold un-delegation can now be tracked.
● Console. In the “Delegate” tab, completed operations are no longer mixed with active delegations.
What to do right now:
🔸Open your wallet and check your balance. After the rebase, the amount of DEL was recalculated at 1000:1 (for example, 10,000 DEL became 10 DEL): your share in the network has not changed, only the display scale did.
🔸Make sure operations go through: sending, staking, transaction history.
Over the next few days we will be closely monitoring the stability of the network and services. This is a normal routine after a major update.
If something does not work the way you expect, message Decimal support (@decimalchain_support_bot). Describe what you were doing and what went wrong, and attach a screenshot if you have one. That way we will sort it out and help you faster.
Thank you for being with us during the update.
